Can you believe we are in week four already for Shirley's Winter Blog Hop?? Time is flying but lets enjoy this time together and get creative.
To start at the beginning of the hop click here to go to Shirley's Blog! And join us with your creation! Shirley has a special treat for someone this week so go on over and see what it is! To say that its stinking cute is does not even begin to tell the story on this!
Ok so I kind of made a few cards this week for the hop! So I am posting one today and one later in the week so check back! And I would love to see what you create too so please click the button at the end of this blog post and join this weeks hop!
So here is one of the cards for this weeks Blog Hop!
I started by cutting a piece of Regal Rose to card front size and ran it through the Big Shot with one of Stampin' Ups Textures Plates to create the swirled design on the card stock. Next I spritz with Shimmer Mist in Vanilla. I cut two pieces of Whisper White card stock and stamped the smallest with Versa Mark and the Christmas Tree image from Snow Swirled. I then heat embossed with black embossing powder. I distressed the edge with the multi purpose tool kit and sponged with Basic Black ink, then sponged around the tree with Garden Green ink.
I stamped the saying to the larger WW card stock piece and distressed the edge of this layer as well.
Next I took embroidery thread and used it to create a gift like effect on the card front. I tied a bow and added Mini jingle bells! I am loving these things!
I then used Regal Rose to sponge around the entire card front and back.
Added basic rhinestones to add more bling to the tree.
I stamped the saying from Snow Swirled inside the card and added snowflakes that I stamped off. And did the same for the envelope
Hope you enjoyed the first card of the week for this hop!

Love pink Christmas cards!!!! Beautiful card! :)
I too love to include pink in Christmas cards. I really enjoy how you have combined the stamp image with the texture plate--they are perfect together.
