Monster Mash Monday! Week 5

Better late than never!   Been a busy week for me so I am a little late with a Monday Post but as the hop goes all week I guess I can forgive myself this time!
Check out Shirley's Blog to see the rules to join this fun hop!

I know this will be unusual but I my main stamped image is not from Stampin' up this week.  But I had to use it because it was so darn cute!
I used the emboss resist technique on a torn piece of whisper white I used Sahara Sand to sponge the edges and the back ground.  Then I stamped the Witch image with Old Olive.  I then used the saying from Wicked Cool in Black.  Added three glimmer brads for some bling.   The inside whisper white is sponged on the edges with Sahara Sand too and then used a swirly witch hat in Old olive.
The main card base is Cajun Craze and I tore the edge so that you could see the DSP peeking through.  I also embossed the webs from Wicked cool in black on the front!   Hope you enjoy!

Monster Mash Mondays Blog Hop! Week 4!

Happy Labour Day!  And Happy Monster Mash Monday!
I decided to change things up a bit and work on my Halloween Layouts for this year.
Thanks again to Shirley for hosting this fun fun Blog Hop!
Check out Shirleys blog here

So here is the page I came up with this week!
I started out with a 12x12 piece of Basic Gray CS.  I then used the Halloween Hangups wheel with Basic Black ink to create the boarder at the top of the page.  Then I cut up Rhinestone Mesh to create the sparkly webs.  Next I tore a piece of the bat in a web paper from the Frightful Sights DSP and antiqued it with Early Espresso and a sponge.
Next I used Frightful Sights and the Perfect Pennants for the big shot to create the two embellishments.  I wove the Basic Black 1/8inch taffeta ribbon through the holes.  Then I I used the spider and stamped it on Lucky Limeaide Card Stock and popped it up in the center after using the Stamping up tools to rough up the edges of the CS.  The other embellishment was created with Tangerine Tango and I used the EeK!  Stamp from Spooky Bingo Bits.
Next I stamped some cute ghosts from Bingo Bits onto the background with Whisper White Craft Ink.  I used Tangerine Tango and Basic Black to create the mat.  I crumpled up the Tangerine Tango and used the direct to paper technique on the Tangerine Tango to make it look aged.  I tore some edges off and used the stampin up tool to rough up the edges.  Then I used Sans Serif and Frightful Sights DSP to create the saying - I then crumpled and roughed the edges and applied to paper --  My Son loves the layout now he just has to find a costume!!  Love Love love Halloween!

Hope you enjoy and please feel free to join in you can find all the info on Shirleys blog!

Monster Mash Mondays Blog Hop! Week 3

Its late Monday ok well I think its officially Tuesday but I had a few technical difficulties this week.  So here is what I came up with!
You can check out the blog by starting at Shirley's
I am trying out brayering and I must say that it is not quite as easy as some people make it out to be - but I am getting better!  It took me a couple of tries to get the look I wanted for the back ground.  I used Whisper White Card stock for the picture - and brayered with Daffodil Delight, Cajun Crazye, Wisteria Wonder, Basic Gray,  and Night of Navy.  I sponged using Daffodil delight, Old Olive and Basic Gray.  Then I stamped versa mark on the house and embossed with Black embossing powder.
Then I stamped the saying and embossed with Black again, and the bats are black stazon.  I stamped the characters  Love Frank the most!!!!   With Black stazon and used a combo of markers and chalks to colour and highlight.  The Bags are from Spooky Bingo Bits and are embossed with Tangerine Tango embossing powder these were all cut out and popped up with Stampin Dimensionals.  The Card base is Old Olive and the corner accents are Basic black punched with the stamp punch.

Inside is my halloween Tree - the Die is the Big Shot O Christmas Tree.  I cut the tree in basic black and decorated with halloween confetti and feathers for the webs.  The top and bottom are wheeled out with Halloween Hangups and basic black.
Feel free to join in the fun!!!

Monster Mash Mondays Week 2!

Now if Tracy checks out my blog this week she will be very impressed as she knows how much I LOVE (not) fussy cutting things!   But I really thought this card was screaming out for it and I love the way it turned out.

As you can see I used a lot of technique and products on this card but it was so fun I am just loving the out on a limb set~

So here is the list!
Basic Black Card stock, Whisper white Cardstock, Frightful site DSP
Inks - Versa Mark, Wild Wasabi, Basic Gray, Stazon Black, Rich Razzelberry, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Crumb Cake
Stamp sets
Wicked Cool for the bats and phrase
And Out on a limb for all other stamped images

Web Embossing folder for the big shot
Whisper white INK on the web!
I used Mica flakes to highlight the moon and Dazzling details for the cats eyes.
My Yellow spider is cut out with Doodle Charms for the Cricut.

Hope you enjoy the Hop!

Creepy Hallow

I got a little inspiration from the Monster Mash Blog hop and now I am on a roll.  This one is just because -I will keep my Blog Hop creation a secret until Monday!

Hope you Enjoy
Well here is my first attempt at brayering ( is that a word?)   Anyway I thought it added some depth and dimension to my card
I used Lucky Limeade for my card base and I ran three sides of it through the scallop square Big Shot Die.  I then used the brayer to make it look kind of eerie with Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight and Island indigo.  Then I heat embossed the stamp Haunted Forest with black embossing powder.  I used the ticked punch in the corners and layered onto the black card stock added silver brads and some Pumpkin Pie Ribbon!

Spooky! Opps

As I was looking through the Artisan Award winners blog hop series - found a really cute video from Heather Summers!  A VERY talented lady from the group of girls in London.  I get so much inspiration from everyone at our quarterly meetings - But Heather is the icing on the cupcake for me!
I tried to recreate a cute Triple Layer Card that Heather has on her site - just the design the stamping and DSP was my thing.
The only problem I ran into was the second layer did not quite fit the way it should.  My next one will be better I will play around with the sizing and see if I can get this style of card to lay just a little better for me.
So here is what I came up with!
The saying and most of the stamps used are from the very cool set Wicked Cool - in the new Catalogue but is carried over from the Holiday Mini from last year!  Love this set!
I used Cajun Craze to make the pull tab and used a matching glimmer brad to add a little bling!
Here is where you can see what I did wrong the dimensions on the second layer are off slightly so the card does on look equal - it looks a little on the funky side.  The Spooktacular saying in the middle is from a retired set but I still like it -
And the DSP is called Frightful Site!
Pretty fun card!

Craft Room

I had a serious problem with my work space and everything was a huge mess --I meant to take a picture of it before we got started on Mission Organization!
The room is ALMOST complete but I felt so happy about being a little more organized I had to create a card.  And since I am a night hawk UGH!  I made this little cutie!
I used the Delicate Doillies Stamp set and clear embossed the Lucky Limeade but since some of Dazzling Diamonds got mixed into my clear embossing powder, there is a little sparkle to all my clear embossing right now.
I used a piece of Flirtatious DSP  So very pretty  and placed that on a distressed piece of whisper white card stock then tied aWisteria Wonder ruffled ribbon to that layer.
Next I used the rock and roll technique with Wisteria wonder and Concord crush and stamped out a doily   and added a matching polka dot brad.  All of this was layered on a regular size card base of Wisteria Wonder!
Then I got playing with Up and Away!  I cased this but I cannot remember who I got the inspiration from

Have a great Monday!
