And We Stamped into the Night!

What a fantastic bunch of stampers that were here last night for the card party!!  There were two new stampers/cardmakers who had never done this before and I think they were maybe practicing before class because they made some pretty amazing cards!!  So much talent in one room!  We had a great night with some great food and great laughs with new friends!  Thanks to everyone for coming out and making the evening so special!

Busy day today Physio and getting ready for the card party tonight - Can't wait for the girls to arrive -- so much fun.  Will post the pictures tomorrow of what we created.  Cheers for tonight!

March Break Event!!

Kids Club event for March Break!!  Yes and parents can come too but only if they want to!  We are going to make Board Book Photo Albums.  You can choose a Heart, A Bird or a flower.  We will be decorating to our hearts content -- and yes there will be glitter!!  Need you ask??!!  The cost of this event is a pre-paid $20.  Everything will be supplied except your pictures -- you can bring them with you or put them in when you get home.  This class will be for about 3 hours perhaps a little longer.  March 20 1-4ish!  Let's create a cool memory!

 Well its been a couple of days - but I have Olympic Fever!  And Yaaaaa Canada for getting Gold !  Whoo hoo I am so proud! 

I just was working on some cards for Tracy's Card party on Friday and had to share this oh so cute one with you!  I love this card!  The hard part is not eating the M&M's!  Let me know what you think!

More Valentine's

After a very early start to the day at my son's hockey game -- his team won!!  Whoo hooo -- Way to go green!  They played so well and remain in first place!

Snow Day!

Brrr what a cold day today!  And I got to spend the day with one of my favorite people!  Jayden -- I kind of love snow days!  Jayden is busy writing a book about knights and dragons and I was busy coming up with some birthday cards for an upcoming private card event.  He is requesting that stamping up come up with some fierce Dragons for the cover of his book along the lines of the skulls at Halloween -- I guess I will pass that along!

NEW SERVICE BIRTHDAY PARTIES!

Birthday Parties for all ages!  Have your very own Stampin' Up! Birthday Party and leave the mess at my house!

The first event I am planning is  based on the exclusive to Stampin' Up set  Build -a-Bear!  We will create a colouring book and have various clothing that the bears can be dressed in. Crayons and supplies are all supplied by me.   The kids make their own "goodie bag" , no trip to the dollar store for you! You bring the kids and the food!  I supply the fun.

I can also create the invitations for an added charge to coordinate with the event.

How Cool is this!

Ok, so we all know how much I ADORE my Big Shot!  High light of a crop!  And you can do so very much with the Big Shot it is an amazing must have tool.  I could fill my entire blog up with projects just involving the Big Shot.  So Tah Da!  Pixie dust  now  you can also add it to your sewing and quilting room!  Yes!  I did say that!

Check out these projects that were made by demonstrators using the Big shot.  This First one is quilts made at Leadership convention using various dies from the big shot!

This next one is so very easy that if you can sew a straight line  you are in! 

Check out these amazingly beautiful bags created by my awesome friend Sue Grant!!  I am telling you if I had not been running classes this weekend .  I would have been all over this project this past weekend!  There is always this week.

Crafty Kids Day Two

Anisa and Sumner were here today for the Valentine's day Card class.  And we had a great time!  Once again the kids amazed me with their creativity - and their Mom Anjanette and I got in on the fun too!  What a fun afternoon - Super Bowl Sunday for the girls!    Special thanks to my helper for the day  Jayden, for cleaning stamps, taking pictures and generally being helpful.  love you! ( Go Colts!!!)

Crafty Kids Creating

Today was the second weekend for my kids Valentine's Card Class - the first in my Kids Club series!  We had a blast!  And much to my delight the glitter was flying!!  These girls knew how to create a card.  There will be some lucky kids in their class!  Kyla and Kira had a great time and we made a variety of cards during our afternoon together.  Missy was happy too only one child left to do Valentine's with.  Thanks for coming to the class girls and see you next month for Kids Club!

Team Meeting

Last night we had our first team meeting in Bright's Grove.  It was awesome!  What a great group of ladies I have joined up with!  Talented and inspiring!  And we all bring a little something to the table I think.   I wanted to share with you the make and take that Jodi designed for us to do - it was great and of course FUN!

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY ON THE LAKE

I  love this kind of winter day when the sun is out and shining.  And the effect on  Lake Huron right outside my back door is breath taking.  So before I get down to the business of creating,  I went outside to take some pictures for a future landscape layout and I thought I would share them with you.  This is the scene the scrapbookers and card makers get to enjoy when they take a break at Crafty Kat Creations! Ahhhhhhh!

WORKING ON MY WISH LIST

So far today has been a fantastic day!  Started out with the usual getting Jayden off to school which today he pretty much was self sufficient with!  Made his own egg, cleaned it up, WITHOUT BEING ASKED!,  and put away the ketchup, whoa what kind of twilight zone did I land in Now if only the teenagers could

follow into the zone!!  Then off to a massage!  Yup I did say it was a twilight zone right?  Then I sat at the Y while Alec worked out and lamented the fact I am unable to right now - but then I decided to work on my Stampin' up Wish List!  Now that is FUN!!!  There are so many very cool things in the Occasions Mini   I am LOVING fox and friends- and even I do not have all the Sale-a-bration items yet.  After I got to page 5 of my wish list I called my up-line Sue to see if I had a true addiction - she reassured me that no I was normal!  Whew!  What a relief.  There are just so many things I want to show my customers and demo to you, all the products are exciting and inspiring!

Anyway I came home and made a cute card right away and I hope you like my Quick and easy  nice and breezy card of the week!  I will also be featuring this card in a video to be posted at a later date and it will be in my Stamp-a-stack class as well.  I hope you enjoy it!

Creative Bliss!

The weekend Valentine's Kids Class in Delhi went Very well!  What a fantastic group of kids - and soooo very creative!!   We had Pokemon emellishments, Barbie, extra hearts, and punches and bugs!!  They all did an amazing job and I think the kids who receive these cards are going to be very happy -- and maybe even some relatives will be luck enough to get one too!  And thank you Jessica for my special card -- sooo sweet!  And I cannot forget Ang and Jackson for hosting this awesome event for everyone.  Great job guys!!.  Of course you are always going to forget something when you travel and believe it or not I - yes me!!! - I forgot me camera!   So I have no cool pics to post but I am hoping someone will send me pictures to post of their amazing cards.

Today I am getting to work on the blog so it may look funny off and on for the next few days -- hold on to your ink pads - I am almost done!
